The medical record
Every appointment, every report, every prescription, filed and dated. Note your upcoming appointments too: a reminder prevents the kind of oversight that costs you.
The timeline of the event
The accident or the onset of the injury, the witnesses, the report to your employer, photos of the site if there are any: reconstruct what happened once, properly, while it is still fresh.
